I am an artist using concrete in my mixed media two-dimensional art. I see strong parallels between concrete and rocks. I have always had a keen interest in the random patterns inherent in rocks. I attribute this passion to the time I spent in the mountains of Colorado during my youth, or perhaps it is genetic. My great grandfather was a stonemason in Switzerland. I have created art in a wide variety of media over the years. My art ranges from photography, murals, sculpture, painting, and spans "time" from an interest in prehistoric form to futuristic space imagery. My current focus is primarily on two-dimensional non-objective art. I am predisposed to experimentation. My work consists of the integration of a wide variety of techniques, materials, and design elements. With these materials, I strive to achieve a look not obtained with traditional media.
